spilling blood across the land, killing for religion - something I don't understand. Fools like me who cross the sea and come to foreign lands ask the sheep for their beliefs. Do you kill on God's command?
A country that's divided surely will not stand. My past erased; no more disgrace; no foolish, naive stand. The end is near, it's crystal clear, part of the master plan. Don't look now to Israel: it might be your home land. Holy wars!
It's Spooky Season!
Spooky Scary Skeletons, Send shivers down my spine

Humans are humans. They have every human weakness, regular lifespans, and every vulnerability. They get sick, they are not overly strong, they can be wounded, and usually are. They are just your average, everyday person.
WEREWOLVES
Werewolves are weak to silver. Werewolves can only be killed by a silver bullet or dagger, regular bullets and daggers will injure them but it will not kill them. A way of death is also by beheading, since that'll kill just about anyone. They are also weak against an herb called "Wolfsbane". This is used mostly by witches. While they are still stronger than average humans, even in their human forms, they are more vulnerable as humans than they are in their wolf forms. They do still have an average life span, as they tend to die young if they cannot handle their transitions, which brings down the average.
WITCHES
Witches are essentially humans, but they can use their magicks and pacts to increase their lifespans and slow their aging. This is more commonly seen in Blood and Black witches, and less commonly among White witches, as there are sacrifices in order to stay young.
White Witch:
White Witches are weaker to Black Magic and stronger against Blood Magic.

VAMPIRES
Vampires burn up in the sunlight, though they seem to be weaker against UV lights as well. Werewolf bites are extremely toxic to vampires, and there is currently no known cure. They are also weak against silver, but it will not kill them, more like they are allergic to it and it can cause rashes and irritation. Prolonged exposure can cause skin to burn or melt. They are also able to be killed by stakes to the heart and decapitation.
OTHERS
For now, they are not playable and only mentioned, therefor they do not need a section here.
Write down a basic appearance, somewhere around, but not limited to, 100ish words. Can be a little shorter, can be a lot longer, depending on your preference. You can also write up before and after appearances if their clothing style or tastes have changed since they have come here. Please include a description or an image of the contract seal, if you have one, and where it is located.
Personality
Personalities are very important to building characters. Just as with appearance, their personalities may also have changed after coming here. You are more than welcome to write a before and after of their personalities. Try to make this section 100ish words as well. This does not include the likes and dislikes.
History
History is probably the most important part of character building. This section is for you to tell us how exactly the character wound up here.

Hello everyone! Feel free to take a button and leave your own! Tell us whether you're okay with static or scrolling to make sure that they're put in the right place! We will accept either static or scrolling positions as well. Thanks!
Witches are humans born with a slight connection to magic. Perhaps they had an inhuman being in their line somewhere, but overtime, the traits disappeared and they became merely human. Witches have the ability to make pacts and contracts, and also the ability to entrap, inhuman beings in order to use their powers for their own.
White Witches use Seraphs and Nephilim more often than not, with an occasional Daemon here or there. They usually use pacts or contracts. A White Witch may have up to two pacts, or a pact and two contracts.
Hoodoo Practitioners use Nephilim and occasionally a Furie. Voodoo Practitioners use Hellions and Furies, and occasionally a Daemon. They usually use pacts or contracts, but will also use entrapment. Blood Witches may have a single pact, as well as up to three contracts. If entrapment is used instead, they may have up to three of them.
Black Witches use Hellions and Furies. They almost always use entrapment. Black Witches may have up to three entrapments and two contracts at any given time.
Humans have no powers upon birth. They are just your average everyday person, no different than anyone else. The world is filled with a majority of these.
WEREWOLVES
Werewolves are actually born this way. They are very rarely turned into wolves by others, as the only ones capable of turning humans into wolves are the Alphas. Werewolves are able to turn into Direwolves, which are basically wolves just much larger, on the full moon. Most of them cannot control this transformation. They are very pack-minded and very rarely are loners. There are quite a few different packs around the bayou and they do often fight over territory.
Werewolves can only be killed by a silver bullet or dagger, regular bullets and daggers will injure them but it will not kill them. A way of death is also by beheading, since that'll kill just about anyone.
WITCHES
Witches are essentially humans, but they have the ability to borrow magic from other beings and use it as their own. They have a small bit of a natural connection with magic that allows them to trap or make contracts with inhuman beings to use their powers. They also have an extended life, in which they age slower than regular humans and can wind up being hundreds of years old so long as they keep the magic flowing. This often requires ritual sacrifice and is more common among black witches and blood witches than it is among white witches.
Witches have three sub-categories to pick from. Blood Witch, Black Witch, and White Witch.
White Witch:
White Witches employ Seraphs and Nephilim. They usually use their magics via a pact or contract. Sometimes Daemons may be employed as well to help with elemental magic. White Witches are known best for their healing and protection spells, herbalism, and potions. They are generally good by nature and do not wish to upset the balance of things.
Blood Witch:
Blood Witches usually employ Furies and Hellions. They are known to use both pacts and entrapments. Blood Witches are usually into Voodoo magics, and anything else that may require the use of blood or ritual sacrifice. They are known for all sorts of different things, ranging from protection to destruction, amulets, charms, spells and potions seem to be the most popular forms of voodoo, and are often sold throughout New Orleans.
Blood Witches following Hoodoo Magics may use a Nephilim or a Furie, as hoodoo is more practiced as a healing art.
Black Witch:
Black Witches usually employ Hellions, but occasionally a Furie or Daemon may be used. They usually use entrapments as they have very little respect for their source of power. They usually see them as their slaves and will use them and treat them as such. Black Witches focus on curses and Necromancy above all else. Their goal is power and influence most of the time.
VAMPIRES
Vampires are unable to go out during the daylight hours unless they have witch friends that can make them daylight amulets, or else they risk burning alive and turning into a pile of ash. They must be invited into places that are owned by humans, but places owned by other supernatural creatures or owned by the city are free reign. Vampires are capable of turning humans into them, but the humans must have vampire blood in their veins when they die in order to turn into a vampire. They then must feed on human blood in order to finish their transformations or they die. Vampires have quite a few powers, like mind compulsion, which is a complete suggestion power. Super speed, super hearing, and others. Not all vampires display all of their powers. Vampires are also mostly immortal. They can live long lives so long as they stay out of the sunlight and avoid being staked in the heart or having their heads removed.
OTHERS
As mentioned above, there are other races, Seraph, Nephilim, Daemon, Furie, and Hellion. These races are currently unavailable to members until we get a bit more up and running. However, witches can mention them if they have a pact with them.
Essentially, Seraph and Nephilim are angelic in nature;ie, kind, gentle, easy-going.
Daemon are neutral and elemental;ie, they are pretty regular people, with a magic focused in the elements, like fire, earth, water, air, nature, shadow, light, etc.
Furie and Hellion are more inclined to demonic or hellish in nature, ie. the bad boys. Destructive, angry, rough around the edges.
All of them are still mostly human, but they have some strong connection to magic since birth and can be roped into working for witches.
Before starting on your character, please make sure to read all of the information over, as it is rather important to making a character. If you have any questions, please ask.
VARIETY - Everyone's character will be different, and that's the best part, however, there are plenty of things that need to remain true to the board, and that's just how it is. Like my main rules, I'm not going to go into detail about anything really, but I'll still outline the basics for you.
GROUPS - So, one may notice that the groups are entirely different from Loyalties. Their group is the species they belong to and their Loyalty or Hierarchy is who they devote themselves to.
APPLICATION - Most of everything you need to know is outlined on the application guide for you already. But if there's anything you still need to know or have questions about, please ask an admin.
NPCS If you have a very minor character, make them an npc. You can always fill out a full bio for them later if you want them to be a major character.
ADMIN OVERWRITING - If for any reason you are found abusing your character, doing things that they should not be doing for the sake of themselves, you will be penalized somehow. As admin, I reserve the right to reject your ideas if they do not fit into this universe or storyline. If you have ideas, please bring them up to me, rather than just doing them.
And that's.... pretty much it. If you have any questions, or feel nervous about your character in any way, ask about it.
Below are the general rules of the site that you are expected to follow. Usually, there are a lot of them, but most of them are fairly common sense, so you will only find ones that are important to this site specifically.
BASIC RP ETIQUETTE - No Godmodding/powerplaying, be respectful, no harassment, no spamming, no homo/transphobic comments, blah blah. The rules you would find at any rp site. Most of these are fairly common sense, and if you don't know them by now, or if you've never rp'd before, you might be subject to a warning or two before serious action is taken.
NO POSSESSION/OBSESSION/CLIQUES - No one has to rp only with one singular person or group of people. Anyone can rp with anyone. If you want closed threads, please make them. Do not be obsessed with someone's characters or the player behind them. Do not form clique bonds outside of rping either. Just because this is a high school does not mean that our members have to exhibit high school or immature behavior. We aim to make everyone comfortable being here.
INFORMATION AND QUESTIONS - There may be a lot of information lingering around the site, and if you really want to get actively involved, you really do have to read it all. The plot is subject to grow and change with all new ideas, either from the admin or from the members, so make sure to read all new information that gets posted. Usually there will be update announcements outlining all of the new information. Not all of the information might be on the site yet, and a lot of it may be in the admin's head. If there are things you do not understand, please do ask questions. The admins and members will not bite.
I'm being totally serious here. I have been known to be really picky about things from time to time. But I am also always open to ideas and don't usually limit my members creativity. Because this is an original plot, built from my creative mind, I want you to ask questions about things you don't understand. If you have questions about the rules, about the races, about the powers, about the characters themselves, anything. PLEASE ASK!
If you don't ask and I go to review your bio and you are completely ignoring my requirements, I will not be nice about rejecting you. I have the right to be upset at people breaking the rules, when I am more than willing to work with you. So please. Ask.
CHATBOX AND DISCORD - We have both a chatbox and a discord channel. The chatbox is mostly for our guests to use when they need to leave a comment, or new members to inform admins that characters are done or whatever else. The chatbox is not to be used as an IC chat, but tagging may be allowed if it is not being used for other things. Discord will probably be more active than the cbox, so please keep that in mind. IC channels may be set up in the discord in the future. The cbox rules are found next to the cbox, and discord's rules are in the discord rule channel.
SITE RATING - According to Proboards TOS, the site itself must remain PG-13ish. All content that is over that can be taken to the NC-17+ channels that are set up in discord. You must get permission from Admin;Tsunami to access those channels. Please keep that content off of the site itself.
Things you may read in posts here: Moderate violence; Mention of nudity or suggestion of sex(without the act itself, fade to black people), mild drugs, weapons, alcohol, swearing. If any of that bothers you, please inform your rp partner.
CHARACTER LIMITS - You are allowed as many characters as you can handle. However, they are one per account, like most sites are now. If your characters become too much for you to handle, you can move them to the archives section. We also have the option for NPC characters, which all have their own accounts and their own bios. These are characters that you can claim if they come up actively in your threads, but aren't musey enough or important enough to be actual characters. There is no limit on NPCs either.
APPLICATIONS/BIOS - You are REQUIRED to use the bio that is PROVIDED! I reserve the right to reject any application, and I will, however, if your character is denied you will be told why and be given a time limit to fix the mistakes. If you are still not approved, message the admin, that would be Admin;Tsunami , and we can work something out. Most of the time, I am more than happy to work with people about their ideas. All you need to do is ask. I don't bite. And I would rather you ask about questionable things, than reject an application.
Also, you cannot start roleplaying until your character is accepted. If you have other characters, fine. Log out and go play as them. Anime/video game pictures are accepted. No real life fcs please. Ruins the aesthetic. You can draw your people too if you want to. Just make sure hand drawn, or electronically drawn characters have the proper sized graphics. If you need something edited to the proper size, Admin;Tsunami is more than willing to help out.
Who's Who and FC claims must be placed before, or immediately after your bio is accepted. But you do not need to wait for an admin to update the claims before you start rping. As soon as your bio is accepted and your claims are posted, you can do whatever you like. Admins will update the lists periodically.
Also, if you have a pending bio, and someone else uses your fc, you have the right to reserve it. However, if that bio is not finished within a week and the other person's is, they can use that fc.
DISCLAIMER - All rules, lists, plots, guides, are subject to change at any given time. Admin;Tsunami changes things quite often, as ideas for things come and go. If changes have been made to something important, and announcement will be posted. And yes, if something has changed, you are required to read it.
Modern Day New Orleans. With its world-class restaurants and eclectic art scene, to its distinctive architecture and neighborhoods. The diverse culture, the air heavy with jazz music, the beautiful climate, and the rich history make New Orleans like no other city.
But just as it attracts the human tourists, the supernatural have also decided to settle here. Whether this is because of the separation of New Orleans from the mainland, or because of the ancient magical ties that the city holds, no one is really sure. Still, this city is run by the rich and powerful just as much as any other place in the world, the only difference is that here, they might be more than they appear.
There are many different plots all happening at the same time. They are summarized below.
Witches
Witches and Voodoo Queens have often been a big part of New Orleans culture, and this remains true. At the current moment, the Witches are gathering their forces for something big. A small bit of a turf war is going on between Tieri la Schade and Ava Marie Laveau, who are considered two of the more powerful witches in the city.
Humans
The Onyx Crosses, one of the most influential crime syndicates in the world has recently expanded into New Orleans. The leader of this group, Kyrarei Riei, has quite a powerful hold over the city. However, he is often not actually there, as his main base of operations is in London, England. But he can still be reached, and does occasionally appear. Right now, the operation in New Orleans is run by Javelin Sala and Finnian O'Ceallaigh, and has many other members running around. They can often be identified by a silver cross pendant around their necks, or a black cross tattoo somewhere on their person.
Vampires and Werewolves
The vampires and werewolves are nearly always at war over space and territory. The wolves believe that they belong in the city and deserve a place among the rest of them, and the vampires disagree, constantly kicking them out of the city and back to the bayou where they believe the wolves belong.
