Basic Appearance


Shiloh is around 5'6" and 128 pounds or so. He has an average build and skin tone. He has mediumish length red hair and bright green eyes. Since he does participate in some sports, he can occasionally be found in those outfits. However when just relaxing he's usually in a pair of jeans or cargo pants or shorts, and some sort of t-shirt. He is also quite often in a hospital gown if things get really bad.

Personality


Shiloh is fairly shy and rather well mannered. He's usually a pretty optimistic kid. But he's not very smart. He is pretty good at sports though so at least he has that going for him. Shiloh hates the fact that he is sick and would much rather be a normal kid. Shiloh is also pretty withdrawn and socially awkward. Not only because he's a shy kid, but because he's been in and out of the hospital most of his life. He is very close to his brother and often will cling to him or hide behind him during any given situation.

Online, however, Shiloh is a social butterfly. He is a strong leader type, but he's still laid back and likes to joke around with his friends. He always likes to talk to people and help others with whatever problem they are having, and he's always there to lend an ear should someone need it.


History


His parents had been thrilled by the birth of their second child. Shiloh was raised as properly as any kid could be in a lower-middle class home. They had more than enough to get by, but not really anything extra. However, they didn't mind. Their life was perfect for them. The first few years of his life, he developed brilliantly. He was smart and talkative and he loved his family very much.

But when he was about five years old, Shiloh suddenly became very ill. It took awhile for the doctors to finally figure out what was wrong with the poor kid, as he had a very rare condition in which his bone marrow produced far too many red blood cells. He underwent many treatments and was often in and out of the hospital, and soon, because of this, his family fell into crippling debt.

By the time he was eight, Shiloh had tried to kill himself, thinking that his family would just be much better off without him. His brother had found him bleeding out on the bathroom floor after having stabbed himself in the neck. Beau couldn't control himself for some reason, and found himself sucking down all of the blood that came from his brother's wound, which healed as he pulled away from it. The two developed a rather weird connection after that. Beau would drink his blood and he no longer had much need to go to the hospital.

Of course this caused their parents to become rather curious as to how their son was miraculously cured, and took him back for more tests. More money, more stress. Eventually his parents were so worn out by everything that they began to drink and smoke. They lost the house and moved into a tiny apartment barely big enough for them. But eventually they also lost their jobs and became rather abusive to their boys.

Shiloh hated it. He blamed himself for everything that was happening to them. But Beau told him not to worry about it, that everything was going to be okay. One night, their father beat the crap out of the both of them and Beau snapped, having enough of their shit, he stabbed the man to death while their mother was out getting groceries. He couldn't stop his compulsion to drink the man's blood, and their mother happened to walk in on that and freaked the hell out. But Beau threatened her life as well and took his brother and together they ran.

After a short while on the streets, Beau had sought someone out that could help them. He didn't want to leave his brother behind, but he knew it would probably be dangerous for him. However that didn't really matter and the two of them made their way to their new home.

Shiloh was happy in his new life. It took a little while for him to adjust to his new life, but once he did he was himself again. Shiloh turned to the internet when it came to his social life and for most of his schooling. His foster family found it much easier to homeschool the sick child, and he was just fine with that.

It didn't take long for him to understand that he was surrounded by people like his brother, ones that drank blood and were only ever awake at night. Vampires. He figured that it should have terrified him, but honestly he was just happy to have somewhere to live. He quickly grew to care for his new family and is thankful that he can be protected.
